Daan Ballegeer (°1982)  is a Belgian journalist and writes for various Belgian and Dutch newspapers and magazines.

Daan Ballegeer studied economic sciences at Ghent University (Belgium) and journalism. He worked as a financial journalist for Flemish financial daily De Tijd for several years and now writes for various Belgian and Dutch newspapers and magazines. Ons Europa is niet dat van hen ('Our Europe is different from theirs') is his first book.
