Kristof Vadino is a Belgian freelance photojournalist based in Brussels.

He works for Belgian and international media and also for NGO's. His work has been published in De Standaard, De Tijd, Le Monde, El País, Trouw, Elsevier, Humo, Mo Magazine, Algemeen Dagblad, ... 

His aim in social documentary photography is to show our dependency towards other people and towards nature. It is important to criticize, but also to show that there is an alternative and that solutions for our current problems exist.

Studies include Art Photography at Sint-lucas, Ghent, Belgium and a Master in Political and Social Science at the University of Ghent, Belgium. Fluent in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.

Vadino lives in Brussels and operates worldwide.
