Anneleen Ophoff (°1990) is a cross-media journalist with a passion for social issues.

She has worked for VRT News & Canvas, VICE News and ENTR. Anneleen won the Belfius Press Prize and, in the United States, the Mark of Excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists. As editor-in-chief of Are We Europe, an independent English-language media platform, she has worked with more than 100 journalists from across Europe to address social issues. Today, she is working freelance on a new series of stories on LGTBQ+ rights.
