Huib de Zeeuw (1984) works as a freelance journalist for NRC Handelsblad, Investico and De Correspondent.

Huib studied journalism at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, Arabic language and culture and international relations at the University of Amsterdam. De Zeeuw specialises in the Middle East and the intersection of politics and energy.

Together with three colleagues from the Investico research platform, he won the VVOJ incentive prize in November 2014 for the article 'The rediscovery of the polder'.

In March 2017, he won the narrative grant for an online publication from the Foundation for Narrative Journalism.
