Phara de Aguirre is a Belgian journalist and former presenter of the VRT programmes Terzake and Phara. She is known as a keen interviewer.

Phara de Aguirre was awarded the Humo's HA! in 2001. On 27 March 2009 and 6 March 2010, she received the Flemish Television Star for best presenter at the Gala of the Flemish Television Academy.

Between 2011 and 2023, De Aguirre taught interview techniques at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, which she combined with her work at VRT. In 2024, this institution awarded her the honorary title of Maestro Honoris Causa.

Since 6 October 2011, Phara de Aguirre has been the presenter of Panorama, for which she also reports. In December 2013, her reportage Love in times of cancer was broadcast on Canvas. De Aguirre herself is a breast cancer survivor.

In 2016, she began work on a programme about refugees for Canvas. The project will take five years to complete and will not be broadcast until 2020.

De Aguirre studied Pedagogical Sciences at KU Leuven.
