In recent years, Lebanon has been hit by a series of crises, with the ongoing covide-pandemic and last year's port explosion adding to the economic and political crisis. Although the future doesn't look bright, young adults continue to chase their dreams and try to find their way in society.
The report 'Draining the well of young dreams' portrays these young adults alongside cityscapes that depict the current situation in Beirut. These young people walk a fine line between the recklessness typical of their age and a sense of responsibility. By starting from the perspective of young graduates, this photographic documentary attempts to provide an insight into the current situation of the city.
