Zero homeless people by 2030: ambitious or hypocritical?

BRUSSEL -- De Brusselse huisvesting zit in een zware crisis. De wachtlijst voor een sociale woning bedraagt nu al 25.000 gegadigden en dreigt enkel langer te worden door de stijging van de woonprijzen op de privémarkt. Vandaag vormen sociale woningen slechts acht procent van het totale woonpark. Die worden hoofdzakelijk beheerd door de 34 sociale huisvestingsmaatschappijen van het Brussels Gewest. Zullen zij hun steentje bijdragen om de steeds groeiende vraag naar betaalbare woningen te beantwoorden?

NEW YORK CITY - The West may not have fully realised it, but the United Nations is undergoing a revival. Not that everything will remain the same, because Beijing seems to be finding enough allies to change the organisation from within.
