Charlotte De Cort is a Brussels-based writer and film director.

She studied Language & Literature at KULeuven, then worked as a journalist and finally chose to study Audiovisual Arts at RITCS Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. 

With the her musical short film LIQUID LOVE (2022) for the Belgian band Intergalactic Lovers and her short documentary BGIRL BADLI (2022), Charlotte traveled to several film festivals, including Dok Leipzig, Krakow, FIPADOC, FIFA Montreal and IDFA School Programme.

As a researcher at RITCS Royal School Of Arts, Charlotte digs deeper into her artistic practice by studying the female gaze in relation to the politics of the dancing body on screen.
