Elske Gravesteijn is an inspired science communicator with a background in neurobiology.

During her PhD research at Maastricht University, she investigated the influence of nutrition on metabolic health, vascular function and cognition.

She currently writes for Foodlog on current issues around food, health and sustainability and focuses on making these complex topics accessible to a wide audience.
