Raymond Dakoua is a photographer of Ivorian origin who lives and works in Brussels.

Over the years, he has collaborated with several prominent cultural institutions and organisations such as the Botanique ('Effervescences' 2007), the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren (2007), the Zuiderpershuis in Antwerp (2006, 2008, 2010) and the Goethe Institute in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (2009). He has been commissioned by international NGOs such as the Red Cross (Côte d'Ivoire, 2003), Handicap International (Kosovo, 2004) and Green Belgium (Morocco, 2005). His latest exhibition 'Le Djoliba et les gens du fleuve' can currently be seen at the Zuiderpershuis, Antwerp, with the financial support of the Pascal Decroos Fund.
