Steven Decraene is a Belgian television journalist.

He started his journalistic career at the Belgian regional TV station WTV and soon after he joined the commercial national broadcaster VTM news service. There he followed the Sabena case and was able to make reports throughout Africa, America, Asia and Europe as a reporter. In 2006 Decraene started working at the Belgian public broadcaster VRT news service to work as a journalist. He is also the author of several journalistic books including "The Crash of Sabena".
