Paul Cobbaert (1984) is a child of the West Flemish farming village of Bekegem. He studied political science and communication studies at Ghent University.
He is an independent journalist and works mainly as a political interviewer for De Zondag. Wildlife is his first passion. He is also the author of Burma. The Golden Land and the General(Academia Press, 2008).
